Amy Guardado ' 24 MSL
Amy Guardado ' 24 MSL graduated with a Master of Strategic Leadership 学位. She appreciates Mount Mercy giving her the opportunity to strengthen and refine her leadership skills at a pace that would not disrupt her life. Amy has experience in leading nonprofit mental health, 移民, and public health organizations in Iowa.
Through the MSL program, Amy has made connections and broadened her perspective of leadership. She hopes to take what she’s learned to help others understand their potential, 达到他们的目标, 并继续增长.

迭戈·塞奎达·马尔卡诺，1924年 came to the United States six years ago from Venezuela and relocated to Mount Mercy大学 from Denver, 科罗拉多州. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 心理学 辅修了 艺术.
在他在校期间, Diego was the President of the 心理学, ”, 和乒乓球俱乐部, Gen 1副总裁, STANG联盟协调员, and a member of the Chess and 艺术 clubs. 在俱乐部之外, 迭戈是高尔夫球队的队员, served as a peer mentor for first-year students, and tutored students in Spanish and 心理学 at the Academic Center for Excellence.
Diego intends to take a gap year to gain hands-on experience in the psychology field before returning to school to pursue his 硕士 学位.
All 学位s are formally conferred during 毕业典礼—also known as graduation. During the ceremony, the provost formally presents the candidates who have been approved by the 注册处. (见申请毕业页.) Degrees are then conferred and new graduates are admitted to their 学位’s "rights and responsibilities." Each student is then presented with a symbolic diploma.
All 学位 candidates (bachelor's, 硕士, and doctoral) are encouraged to participate in 毕业典礼, including those who earned their 学位 at the end of the fall and winter terms.
Students on track to graduate during the summer semester are invited to participate, 然而, their diplomas will not be available until they have successfully completed all classes.
